The Story Behind This Piece

This painting began as an exploration of the evolving stages of roses — from delicate buds to full bloom. I initially chose a canvas with a slightly broken frame, intending it as a practice piece for experimenting with color and technique. As the painting unfolded, however, a deeper meaning emerged.

The roses naturally formed into seven distinct sections, with three fully bloomed. This felt deeply symbolic, therefore I looked it up. The number seven represents completion and perfection, while three signifies wholeness, completeness, and the trinity — ideas that resonate uniquely with each viewer.

As I continued painting, the gentle presence of Mother Mary came through — a quiet reassurance that no matter what stage of life we find ourselves in, we are always seen, held, and perfectly loved.

Even the broken frame revealed its purpose. What first appeared as an imperfection became part of the message itself — that growth does not require perfection, and that love remains present even in what feels fractured or incomplete.

Perfectly Loved is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, created as a lasting reminder that at every stage of life, we are already whole — and deeply, unconditionally loved.
